Simran Tyagi

Simran is eager to make a meaningful impact.

She completed her Masters in Applied Health Science at Western University, where she explored how to enhance health services, systems and policy. Throughout her experience she has become better equipped to identify opportunities for growth and lead change. At MacPhie, Simran operationalizes and further cultivates these skills as she supports a revisioning initiative at a Canadian University.

Simran holds an Honour’s Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto. While completing her degree, she gained valuable experience conducting comprehensive research, analysis, and evaluation of scientific literature as well as program effectiveness. This experience has refined her skills to persuasively articulate gaps, barriers, and possible areas of mitigation through both written reports and presentations.

Simran also works in hospital administration where she aims to understand and improve the out-patient experience in an acute care setting. Collaborating with varying professionals and stakeholders, she builds strong rapport and maintains effective working relationships.

Outside of work, Simran enjoys spending time with friends and family; planning her dream vacations; and discovering new television shows to indulge in.
