Francesco is driven to support the development of energizing strategic plans and optimal workplace cultures. Using his research background, Francesco is interested in facilitating inclusive and comprehensive strategic planning processes that are not only supported by evidence, but also allow all stakeholders to feel proud and bought into their organization’s future direction. At MacPhie, Francesco is currently supporting several strategic plans across industries including: healthcare, gaming, real estate, day care, sport, and more.
Francesco holds a Master of Health Information Science from Western University, where his research involved examining Tweets posted by major world leaders during the COVID-19 pandemic and assessing if they were effective in communicating information from a crisis and emergency risk communication perspective. He is passionate about the idea that it’s not often what you say, but how you say it.
Prior to MacPhie, Francesco worked in the pharmaceutical industry where he leveraged his research skills to create treatment pathways in preparation for new company products moving through the pipeline. Francesco also spearheaded a project to increase patient engagement becoming the first initiative to do so across the organization.
Francesco also holds an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences from Western University. Through his studies, he has developed critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze and synthesize complex information into easily consumed deliverables.
Outside of work, Francesco partakes in a variety of activities including hockey, golf and tennis. He is also a huge music fan and tries to attend as many concerts as he can. Additionally, he is a major foodie and loves cooking and trying new restaurants.
