Principal (Director/Vice President Level)

We are rapidly growing our Organizational Development practice – focusing on defining organizational cultures and building high-performing teams. And we are seeking an organizational development professional with ten years of experience in consulting and/or industry to help lead and grow this practice area – including managing client engagements, growing relationships, mentoring team members, and promoting the firm’s growth.

What You’ll Bring

  • Over 10 years of leadership and consulting experience with at least 7+ years of strategic planning experience or 7+ years of organizational development experience – in-house or within a consulting firm
  • Proven ability to directly manage high-performing teams – inspiring staff and supporting individual growth and workloads, while delivering high quality work
  • Expertise in facilitation with ability to command a room, calibrate energy, and productively engage participants
  • Experience managing the people side of change
  • Proven track record of serving as a trusted advisor that colleagues and clients turn to for support
  • Be gifted at making people feel comfortable talking, by being highly-engaged, listening and observing
  • Critical thinking skills to analyze complex information, generate meaningful insights, and make recommendations
  • Superior ability to lead projects, effectively delegate tasks, and deliver excellence
  • Team-focused mindset with a desire to mentor colleagues and clients
  • Exceptional communication skills – taking complex ideas and presenting them compellingly in spoken and written word
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Desire to proactively identify and manage areas for continuous improvement internally
  • Drive, charisma, and an intelligent sense of independence

What You’ll Do

  • Build strong relationships with clients – from CEOs to middle-management – during engagements and beyond
  • Advance firm growth by supporting business development efforts for the firm, including outreach and organic growth
  • Actively oversee client engagements – ranging from strategic plans, to culture transformation, to high- performing team development programs – with support from the team
  • Uncover insights and opportunities for clients
  • Oversee development of deliverables including the design of approaches and reports with insights and
    recommendations; review deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality and timeliness
  • Supervise and/or mentor Consultants, Associate Consultants, and Analysts, ensuring personal growth and development at MacPhie
  • Support in the management of MacPhie’s business operations

Consultant (Manager Level)

At MacPhie, our Consultants gain a breadth of experience across our practice areas, and exposure to C-Suite clients. Our ideal candidate for this role would have 3-5 years of consulting experience, with a focus in organizational development or strategic planning. MacPhie Consultants manage client engagements with support from senior team members, conducting and analyzing research, preparing reports and presentations, and supporting the development of our business.

  • Experience with conducting focus groups and stakeholder interviews
  • A proven ability to analyze complex information, generate meaningful insights, and make recommendations
  • A proven track record of innovative, creative, and collaborative problem-solving
  • Team-focused mindset with a desire to mentor colleagues and clients
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Superb attention to detail
  • A desire to proactively identify and manage areas for continuous improvement internally
  • Willingness to take initiative and learn independently

  • Genuine desire to share an opinion, listen actively, and contribute consistently
  • An ability to work both alone and in group settings within a dynamic, fast-paced environment

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate on engagements – ranging from strategic plans, to high-performing team development programs, to culture transformation work – with support from senior team members
  • Own responsibility for project management and logistical support for client engagements, including developing project work plans, organizing logistics, liaising with clients and ensuring projects remain on time and on budget
  • Develop deliverables including: the design of approaches and development of detailed reports with insights and recommendations; take responsibility for structuring and writing reports and presentations; review deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality and timeliness
  • Conduct focus groups and stakeholder interviews, presenting research reports to clients
  • Inform thinking on strategic client engagements
  • Build relationships with clients of all levels – from assistants to CEOs
  • Grow management experience by supporting professional growth of Associate Consultants and Analysts
  • Play an active role in developing client solutions, and continually refining our products, services and offerings to best meet the needs of our diverse clients
  • Support in the management of MacPhie’s business operations
  • Support MacPhie’s marketing strategy, which may include executing email marketing, blog drafting, or webinars
  • Advance firm growth by participating in business development activities such as participating in pitch meetings or drafting proposals and RFPs
