Andrew Wakefield

Andrew is an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a strong interest in both strategy and high-performing teams. Having conducted research across Social, Clinical, and Organizational Psychology disciplines, he brings a focused analytical approach to every aspect of his work. 

Andrew recently graduated from Queen’s university with a Bachelor’s of Science majoring in Psychology. Through working in a broad range of research teams he has leveraged his ability to communicate, work collaboratively, and understand information from a human-centric perspective. Always looking for opportunities to expand his skillset, in his last year, he contributed to a project where he learned to use machine learning for topic modeling and regression. 

Prior to MacPhie, Andrew worked with the Canadian Institute for Public Safety Research and Treatment on a project intended to empower public safety employees to take control of their mental health. Currently, he is excited to further explore the world of management consulting and apply his passion for problem-solving to help organizations optimize their strategies and develop their culture.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys hiking and tripping through the provincial parks of Ontario. He has recently picked up squash and is always looking for new people to play with. He also enjoys reading, playing chess, and exploring the restaurant scene in Toronto.
